JUNIOR Backend Developer

Key responsibilites:

• Engage in collaborative efforts with fellow developers to conceptualize, create, and uphold backend services, application programming interfaces (APIs), and systems.
• Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to formulate comprehensive software design and architecture.
• Execute rigorous testing and deployment procedures for applications and systems.
• Meticulously review, update, refactor, and debug code to uphold impeccable software quality.
• Enhance and optimize existing software applications in response to user feedback and evolving technical prerequisites.
• Thoroughly compile and maintain documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Contribute actively to the resolution of backend-related issues and debugging efforts.
• Participate actively in peer code reviews, offering constructive and insightful feedback.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated practical experience ranging from 6 months to 1 year in a relevant domain.
• Proven track record in the design or implementation of publicly accessible REST APIs.
• Proficiency in prominent programming languages, including Golang, Node.js, or Python.
• Additional experience with Python/Django and familiarity with MySQL or Postgres is considered advantageous.
• Competence in the design, querying, and optimization of databases, encompassing relational and non-relational databases like Postgres and MongoDB.
• Adeptness in microservices and proficiency in event-driven architecture.
• Comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies and the capacity to function effectively within such environments.

Nice to have:

• An affinity for logistics would be a positive attribute.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) is a noteworthy advantage.
